Orca Pacific Calcium Increaser, 50# Pail (Calcium Chloride)
Details
Orca Pacific Calcium Increaser
Orca Calcium Increaser raises calcium hardness levels in pool and spa water to help protect surfaces and equipment from corrosive water conditions. Proper calcium hardness helps prevent plaster etching, equipment damage, and premature wear while supporting balanced water chemistry.
Key Benefits
- Raises calcium hardness
- Helps protect plaster surfaces
- Reduces corrosive water conditions
- Protects pool equipment
- Supports balanced water chemistry
Directions for use
1 pound (approx. 1 1/2 cups) per 10,000 gallons of water will increase hardness by 12 ppm.
1. Determine the amount of dry CALCIUM INCREASER to be added using a hardness test kit and the dosage rates above.
2. Pre-dissolve dry CALCIUM INCREASER in plastic pail of water. Stir water with a wooden spoon or stick. Do not use metal or glass.
Caution: it gets HOT as it dissolves. Always add dry CALCIUM INCREASER to water.
3. Allow the pump to run for 1 or 2 hours to thoroughly disperse the dry CALCIUM INCREASER.
4. Test the water to be sure the hardness level has been elevated to the proper level.
