Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is the measure of all dissolved chemicals and minerals in a pool.

- The TDS reading should not exceed 1000 ppm.

- High TDS reduces chlorine efficiency and causes staining.

- Geography and source of water.
- Chemical additions.
- Type of sanitizer.
 
What decreases TDS?
- Dilution
